General Meeting and Autumn Conference December 2025 in Budapest
Dear members,
We would like to share some news with you.
Tamás Tóth (Zichyfarm) Young Generation member will now support Béla Jankovich, ELO delegate and board member, in the ELO collaboration. We are very pleased that Tamás has proactively come forward and wish him every success!
Save the date
This year, our Maintusz Autumn Conference will take place later than usual. Please make a note of the date: 4-5 December 2025, as requested by some: close to the weekend.
Of course, we hope that our new state secretaries will attend (Dr. Zsolt Felmann was replaced in March this year). Our board has already met with the new officials to ensure that Maintusz's good relationship with the ministry continues. We very much hope that this will give members the opportunity to get to know the state secretaries and at the same time obtain information about the KAP 2025 and the prospects for 2026, how the Ministry is preparing for the elections, and what legal means it intends to use to ensure that its long-term goals are achieved.
Furthermore, our board plans to invite the Agricultural Chamber NAK (Nemzeti Agrárgazdasági Kamara), so that members have the opportunity to get to know the chamber and what it has to offer better.
The programme is still being planned, but the date is set for Thursday and Friday, 4-5 December 2025, as always at the Magyar Tudományos Akadémia.

Kedves Tagok!
Stefániának köszönhetően tagságunk havonta értesülhet egy hírlevél által aktuális és érdekes információkról.
Utóbbi időben két előadást tarthattam Magyarországon, a két legnagyobb magyar mezőgazdasági üzem vendégeként.
Tartalma elősorban az volt, hogyan lehetne modern üzemeltetési rendszerekkel a Magyarországon is kirajzolódó éghajlati és környezetbeli változásokra reagálni:
1. Csapadék sűrűség és eloszlás
2. Növekvő problémák a kielégítő vízellátással
3. A talaj elszegényesedése
4. A talaj termékenységének leépülése
Mi, illetve szövetségünk, az őszi konferenciánkon ezzel a témakörrel foglalkozunk, konkrét esetben átfogó információval, ami a photovoltaikot és megújuló energiát illeti, mint további lehetőségek a mezőgazdaságban.
Állami részről is számos kísérletet tesznek, hogy a magyar mezőgazdaság termékenységét emeljék vagy legalábbis megtartsák.
Például a termés biztosítása öntöző rendszerek támogatásával – mint reakció a megváltozott és továbbra is változó környzetbeli feltételekre.
Ezzel kapcsolatban a jövőre nézve egyre fontosabb egy víztakarékos és kímélő talajművelés és gazdálkodás, mindenek elött azért, hogy a termést és a talajértéket védjük és megtartsuk.
2015 a talaj nemzetközi éve volt – akkor mi közép-európaiak kevés érdeklődéssel tekintettünk ezekre a régiokra – most úgy tűnik, hogy ezek a nehézségek országainkat is elérték és kényszerítenek, hogy erre reagáljunk.
Tehát ez minden tagunk részére egy fontos téma, mindegy, hogy saját maga műveli a földjét vagy bérbe adja.
Végeredményben a talaj termékenysége és értékének megtartása legyen a fő cél.
